Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) beaten egg
  • 1/4 tsp (1.2ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp (0.75g) baking soda
  • 1 pinch (0.5g) salt
  • 1/3 cup (55g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. In a small bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until the mixture looks pale and fluffy. Stir in the beaten egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Whisk in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined; fold in the chocolate chips.
  3. Scoop about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough per cookie. Roll into a ball, flatten slightly with your palm, and place on parchment paper with 2 inches of space between them.
  4. Place the parchment and dough into the air fryer basket. Cook at 300°F (150°C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Remove the basket when edges are deep mahogany-brown. Let the cookies sit undisturbed in the basket for 5 minutes to firm up.
