Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup (57g) unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup (50g) brown sugar, packed
- 1 tbsp (15ml) beaten egg
- 1/4 tsp (1.2ml) vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/8 tsp (0.75g) baking soda
- 1 pinch (0.5g) salt
- 1/3 cup (55g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, cream together the softened butter and brown sugar until the mixture looks pale and fluffy. Stir in the beaten egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Whisk in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir until just combined; fold in the chocolate chips.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough per cookie. Roll into a ball, flatten slightly with your palm, and place on parchment paper with 2 inches of space between them.
- Place the parchment and dough into the air fryer basket. Cook at 300°F (150°C) for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Remove the basket when edges are deep mahogany-brown. Let the cookies sit undisturbed in the basket for 5 minutes to firm up.
