Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs, room temperature
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (35g) cocoa powder, unsweetened
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 1/4 tsp (1.2g) baking powder
- 1/2 cup (85g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (30g) chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions:
- Combine melted butter and granulated sugar in a bowl. Whisk vigorously for 1 minute to ensure the sugar begins to dissolve.
- Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture looks glossy and smooth.
- Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Use a spatula to fold the ingredients together until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
- Grease a 6-inch or 7-inch heat-proof baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang.
- Spread the batter evenly into the pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Place the pan in the Ninja Crispi. Set to the Bake/Air Fry function at 325°F (160°C) for 30–35 minutes.
- Check at the 25-minute mark. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
