Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (35g) cocoa powder, unsweetened
  • 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 1/4 tsp (1.2g) baking powder
  • 1/2 cup (85g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup (30g) chopped walnuts or pecans

Instructions:

  1. Combine melted butter and granulated sugar in a bowl. Whisk vigorously for 1 minute to ensure the sugar begins to dissolve.
  2. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture looks glossy and smooth.
  3. Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Use a spatula to fold the ingredients together until just combined; do not overmix.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips or nuts if using.
  5. Grease a 6-inch or 7-inch heat-proof baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang.
  6. Spread the batter evenly into the pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
  7. Place the pan in the Ninja Crispi. Set to the Bake/Air Fry function at 325°F (160°C) for 30–35 minutes.
  8. Check at the 25-minute mark. The brownies are done when a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
