Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup (150g) packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 3/4 cup (130g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
  2. Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  3. Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt, then stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Line your pan with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang on the sides.
  5. Press the batter evenly into the pan and slide the pan into the air fryer basket.
  6. Cook for 12–15 minutes until the edges are deep golden brown and the center is set but slightly springy to the touch.
  7. Remove the pan and let the bars cool inside the pan for at least 15 minutes to allow the center to firm up.
  8. Lift using the parchment handles and cut into 9 equal squares.
