- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup (150g) packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup (125g) creamy peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 3/4 cup (130g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C). In a medium bowl, whisk together the melted butter, brown sugar, and peanut butter until smooth.
- Stir in the egg and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
- Fold in the flour, baking soda, and salt, then stir in the chocolate chips.
- Line your pan with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang on the sides.
- Press the batter evenly into the pan and slide the pan into the air fryer basket.
- Cook for 12–15 minutes until the edges are deep golden brown and the center is set but slightly springy to the touch.
- Remove the pan and let the bars cool inside the pan for at least 15 minutes to allow the center to firm up.
- Lift using the parchment handles and cut into 9 equal squares.
