Ingredients:
- 1 box (18 oz) brownie mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 tsp flaky sea salt
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and eggs until smooth and pale, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the boxed brownie mix and additional all-purpose flour with a spatula until just combined; do not overmix.
- Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges look set and matte but centers remain slightly soft.
- Immediately sprinkle with flaky sea salt if desired and let cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
