Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter
- 10 cups (560g) Fresh Mini Marshmallows, divided
- 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 tsp Fine Sea Salt
- 5 cups (140g) Fruity Pebbles Cereal
- 3 cups (85g) Rice Krispies Cereal
Instructions:
- Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper or a light coat of butter. Note: This prevents the treats from bonding permanently to your pan.
- Place 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter in a large pot over low heat until fully melted and foaming slightly.
- Add 8 cups of the mini marshmallows to the butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and velvety.
- Remove the pot from the heat and stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp fine sea salt. Note: Adding these off heat preserves the vanilla's potency.
- In a separate bowl, mix 5 cups (140g) Fruity Pebbles with 3 cups (85g) Rice Krispies.
- Pour the cereal blend into the marshmallow mixture. Stir until every flake is glistening and coated.
- Quickly fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows. Note: They should soften but not fully melt.
- Transfer to the pan and use a buttered spatula to spread evenly. Press until the surface is level but still airy.
- Let the treats sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Lift the parchment out and slice into 15 squares.
