Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter
  • 10 cups (560g) Fresh Mini Marshmallows, divided
  • 1 tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 tsp Fine Sea Salt
  • 5 cups (140g) Fruity Pebbles Cereal
  • 3 cups (85g) Rice Krispies Cereal

Instructions:

  1. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper or a light coat of butter. Note: This prevents the treats from bonding permanently to your pan.
  2. Place 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter in a large pot over low heat until fully melted and foaming slightly.
  3. Add 8 cups of the mini marshmallows to the butter. Stir constantly until the mixture is smooth and velvety.
  4. Remove the pot from the heat and stir in 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp fine sea salt. Note: Adding these off heat preserves the vanilla's potency.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix 5 cups (140g) Fruity Pebbles with 3 cups (85g) Rice Krispies.
  6. Pour the cereal blend into the marshmallow mixture. Stir until every flake is glistening and coated.
  7. Quickly fold in the remaining 2 cups of mini marshmallows. Note: They should soften but not fully melt.
  8. Transfer to the pan and use a buttered spatula to spread evenly. Press until the surface is level but still airy.
  9. Let the treats sit for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
  10. Lift the parchment out and slice into 15 squares.
