Ingredients:
- 115g unsalted butter, softened
- 150g brown sugar, packed
- 50g white granulated sugar
- 1 large egg, room temperature
- 5ml pure vanilla extract
- 190g all-purpose flour
- 3g baking soda
- 1.5g salt
- 170g semi-sweet chocolate chunks
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until the mixture looks pale and fluffy.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed just until the white streaks of flour disappear.
- Using a silicone spatula, gently fold in the chocolate chunks by hand.
- Grease a baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang for easy removal.
- Press the dough evenly into the pan using the back of a spoon, ensuring the corners are filled.
- Set the air fryer to 325°F (160°C).
- Place the pan in the air fryer basket and bake for 13–15 minutes.
- Remove when edges are golden brown and the center is set but still slightly soft.
