Ingredients:

  • 115g unsalted butter, softened
  • 150g brown sugar, packed
  • 50g white granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg, room temperature
  • 5ml pure vanilla extract
  • 190g all-purpose flour
  • 3g baking soda
  • 1.5g salt
  • 170g semi-sweet chocolate chunks

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until the mixture looks pale and fluffy.
  2. Add the egg and vanilla extract. Beat on medium speed until fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Sift in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed just until the white streaks of flour disappear.
  4. Using a silicone spatula, gently fold in the chocolate chunks by hand.
  5. Grease a baking pan and line it with parchment paper, leaving a slight overhang for easy removal.
  6. Press the dough evenly into the pan using the back of a spoon, ensuring the corners are filled.
  7. Set the air fryer to 325°F (160°C).
  8. Place the pan in the air fryer basket and bake for 13–15 minutes.
  9. Remove when edges are golden brown and the center is set but still slightly soft.
