Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg (50g)
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
- Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined; do not overwork the dough. Fold in the chocolate chips by hand until evenly distributed.
- Line your Ninja Crispi basket with a piece of parchment paper. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them in the basket, leaving at least 1 inch of space between each ball.
- Set your Ninja Crispi to the bake/air fry setting at 325°F (160°C). Cook for 8 minutes until edges are golden-brown while centers remain slightly soft.
- Carefully remove the basket and let the cookies sit undisturbed for 5 to 10 minutes to firm up and develop a chewy texture.
