Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup (150g) brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup (50g) granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg (50g)
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 1 cup (170g) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until the mixture is pale and fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Stir in the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined; do not overwork the dough. Fold in the chocolate chips by hand until evenly distributed.
  3. Line your Ninja Crispi basket with a piece of parchment paper. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough (about 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them in the basket, leaving at least 1 inch of space between each ball.
  4. Set your Ninja Crispi to the bake/air fry setting at 325°F (160°C). Cook for 8 minutes until edges are golden-brown while centers remain slightly soft.
  5. Carefully remove the basket and let the cookies sit undisturbed for 5 to 10 minutes to firm up and develop a chewy texture.
