Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup (150g) granulated white sugar
  • 1 large (50g) egg
  • 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
  • 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp (4g) cream of tartar
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
  • 2 tbsp (25g) granulated white sugar
  • 1 tbsp (8g) ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and 3/4 cup sugar until the mixture looks pale and fluffy.
  2. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, beating on medium speed until fully incorporated and smooth.
  3. Gradually add the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed just until the white streaks of flour disappear.
  4. Combine the 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon in a small bowl.
  5. Scoop about 1.5 tbsp of dough and roll it between your palms to form a smooth ball.
  6. Drop the ball into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and rotate until the dough is completely encased.
  7. Line the Ninja Crispi basket with parchment paper and space the balls 2 inches apart.
  8. Set the Ninja Crispi to the bake/air fry setting (350°F / 175°C) and cook for 10–12 minutes.
