Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup (150g) granulated white sugar
- 1 large (50g) egg
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp (4g) cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp (3g) baking soda
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) salt
- 2 tbsp (25g) granulated white sugar
- 1 tbsp (8g) ground cinnamon
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and 3/4 cup sugar until the mixture looks pale and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg and vanilla extract, beating on medium speed until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Gradually add the flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Mix on low speed just until the white streaks of flour disappear.
- Combine the 2 tbsp sugar and 1 tbsp cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Scoop about 1.5 tbsp of dough and roll it between your palms to form a smooth ball.
- Drop the ball into the cinnamon-sugar mixture and rotate until the dough is completely encased.
- Line the Ninja Crispi basket with parchment paper and space the balls 2 inches apart.
- Set the Ninja Crispi to the bake/air fry setting (350°F / 175°C) and cook for 10–12 minutes.
