Ingredients:

  • 1 box (15.25 oz / 432g) White Cake Mix
  • 1/2 cup (113g) Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 package (3 oz / 85g) Orange Gelatin Powder
  • 1 tbsp (6g) Fresh Orange Zest
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Pure Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup (170g) White Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup (60g) Powdered Sugar

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and orange zest. Using a mixer, cream them together until the butter is pale and fluffy.
  2. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, beating until smooth. Gradually stir in the white cake mix and the orange gelatin powder. Mix on low speed until a thick, vibrant orange dough forms.
  3. Gently fold in the white chocolate chips by hand to avoid over-mixing.
  4. Using a cookie scoop, roll the dough into 1.5 tablespoon balls. Roll each ball generously in powdered sugar until fully coated.
  5. Place the cookies 2 inches apart on a parchment-lined sheet. Bake for 12–14 minutes until the edges are set and the tops have a slight crinkle effect, but centers remain soft.
  6. Let the cookies cool on the pan for 5 minutes before transferring.
