Ingredients:

  • 1 box (18 oz / 510g) Brownie Mix
  • 3 tbsp (24g) All-purpose flour
  • 1 large Egg (50g)
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp (5ml) Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp (3g) Salt
  • 1 cup (170g) Semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line your baking sheets with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the dry brownie mix and 3 tablespoons of all-purpose flour.
  3. Add the egg, oil, vanilla, and salt. Stir with a spatula until a thick, cohesive dough forms.
  4. If the dough feels too loose to scoop, stir in one additional tablespoon of flour.
  5. Fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough and place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 9–11 minutes until the edges are set and mahogany in color, but the centers still look slightly underbaked and soft.
