Ingredients:
- 1.5 cups (180g) all-purpose flour
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 tsp (5g) baking powder
- 0.5 tsp (3g) salt
- 2 large (100g) eggs, room temperature
- 0.5 cup (120ml) whole milk
- 0.5 cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp (15g) unsalted butter, for greasing the pan
Instructions:
- Grease the inside of your 6-inch cake pan with butter and line the bottom with a circle of parchment paper.
- Whisk the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl.
- Create a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Stir gently until the batter is smooth; do not overmix.
- Pour the batter into the pan, smooth the top, and place the pan in the air fryer basket.
- Bake at 320°F (160°C) for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake rest in the pan for 10 minutes, then run a knife around the edge and invert onto a wire rack to cool completely.
