Preheat the oven to 180C, 350F.
Your baking sheets are getting ready.
Mix flour, salt, and baking powder and set aside.
Melt butter (in the microwave) add both types of sugar and mix well. Make sure the mixture is cool and then add the eggs and mix well.
Add vanilla extract.
Now slowly add the flour to the wet ingredients.
Once ready, refrigerate the dough for 20 minutes (overnight is best).
If you prefer larger cookies, roll the dough into balls the size of a medium egg or a large egg.
Fold individual chocolate pieces into balls of dough. Once on the baking tray, place a piece of chocolate on top and press it into the dough. Be sure to leave enough space between the dough balls on the tray.
Place in the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
If your oven is too hot - check them after 10 minutes.
The cookies will still feel very soft in the center and be golden brown when they come out of the oven.
