- ¾ cup butter or margarine 170g
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar 250g
- ½ cup granulated sugar 100g
- 1 tsp vanilla extract 5g
- 2 eggs
- 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour 270g
- 1 tsp salt 5g
- 1 ⅔ cups HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips 270g
- 1 cup chopped nuts 250g, optional
Preheat the Oven
Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Prepare the Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugars until the mixture is fluffy. Then, beat in the eggs and vanilla extract until the mixture is creamy.
Mix the Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this mixture to the butter mixture. Stir in the HERSHEY'S Milk Chocolate Chips and nuts (if using).
Shape and Bake the Cookies
Drop the dough by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the cookies are lightly browned.
Cool the Cookies
Let the cookies cool slightly on the cookie sheet before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
