Christmas Crack Cookies
We’re making Christmas crack cookies. If you’ve never heard of Christmas crackers, it’s one of the best Christmas desserts. It starts with a layer of saltine crackers, followed by a layer of toffee, and topped with a layer of chocolate.
It is delicious and wonderful. The only way to improve it is to turn it into a cookie. To bring out the toffee flavor, these cookies start with brown butter. Brown butter has a nutty flavor, similar to toffee, So they go well together. Saltines add the perfect crunch and a bit of saltiness.
